Stockport Spa

This refurbishment project at Stockport Grand Central created a modern spa and leisure destination that enhances the overall visitor experience. Whitfield and Brown delivered the works in carefully planned phases to maintain public access and keep school swimming sessions running throughout. The first phase involved a full strip out of the existing health suite followed by installation of new changing areas a hydrotherapy pool a sauna a steam room an aromatherapy room and upgraded mechanical and electrical systems. The second phase focused on refreshing open areas introducing a new childrens fun pool and adding water slides to improve family facilities. Delivered as part of Stockport Councils wider investment programme this one point two million scheme was completed safely with a strong focus on quality and continuity.
