Whitfield and Brown completed two refurbishment phases at Liverpool John Moores University’s Byrom Street Campus delivering upgraded teaching and research facilities within a live city centre environment. Careful planning coordination and communication ensured works were carried out safely while the campus remained fully operational for students and staff. The first phase involved comprehensive remodelling and refurbishment of laboratories and corridors valued at around one point two million pounds which improved functionality and circulation within key academic areas. The second phase valued at approximately seven hundred thousand pounds delivered further laboratory upgrades and remodelling of the main entrance to create a more welcoming and practical space. Delivered over a combined programme the one point eight million pound scheme demonstrates Whitfield and Browns expertise in complex phased refurbishments in occupied educational settings integrating high quality finishes with meticulous site management to achieve successful outcomes for the university community.
