Whitfield and Brown delivered the complete refurbishment of a fire damaged business college in Manchester city centre reinstating the four storey building and basement to its original condition. The project required the full removal of all fire damaged materials including floors walls partitions staircases ceilings finishes doors windows fixtures fittings plasterwork sanitaryware mechanical and electrical installations and stair lifts. Every element was stripped back to allow the building to be rebuilt safely and accurately. External works were also undertaken to repair fire damaged windows with full replacement installed at ground floor level to restore the appearance of the facade. The scheme demonstrates Whitfield and Browns ability to manage complex reinstatement projects that require detailed coordination careful sequencing and a strong focus on safety and compliance.
