Whitfield and Brown worked with Tawd Valley Developments and West Lancashire Borough Council to deliver a high quality mixed tenure housing development in Skelmersdale that supports local regeneration. The scheme formed part of a wider programme focused on providing modern sustainable and affordable homes that respond to community need. The development offered a mix of two storey homes bungalows and apartments designed to meet contemporary living standards with robust materials and carefully considered layouts. Energy efficient features included enhanced insulation underfloor heating and air source heat pumps which helped reduce energy use and support long term affordability for residents. Delivered as part of a broader regeneration vision the project contributed to the creation of a new neighbourhood in West Lancashire providing affordable homes for local families and strengthening community wellbeing.
