Cherwell Village

Whitfield and Brown designed and constructed seventeen apartments for people with physical and learning disabilities creating a safe supportive and modern living environment. The scheme used traditional construction methods with full water gas and electrical installations along with associated site works landscaping drainage roads and car parking completed under highways and sewer adoption agreements. Delivered for PossAbilities a social enterprise supporting vulnerable people the development provided residents with their own home many living independently for the first time. Each apartment offered a bedroom kitchen bathroom and living space designed to feel welcoming and homely. The Cherwell Village Apartments were uniquely co located with the Cherwell Wellbeing Garden and Farm and a social lounge which created a vibrant community where people could live work volunteer learn new skills and socialise.
